FINDING A CHANGE OF CLOTHES

For Tabitha.

Tabitha’s clothing is so delicate and fine, I decided to put it away and find her something else to wear until I can make her a new outfit.

Here are some of the clothes we already had that she tried for side.

We started with a pair of AG dungarees and a Ginny made shirt.

She looks ready to help out around the garden and house.

Then a nice green pinafore

The duffle coat is a little short in the sleeves but a friend said it may look fine if she was wearing some gloves.

Here she is in a summer dress still wearing her blouse to protect her arms from the cold.

Here she’s wearing a lovely bright summer dress.

Another pretty summer dress the colours seem to suit her.

Some lilac leggings and a sweater I knitted for a different Roche doll.

Here she is in a dress by Ginny I had made for Suzannah Roche last year, it fits her beautifully, she is also wearing a pair of Lisa shoes made for a Sasha Studio doll but are a great fit due to her feet being quite fat at the top.

I will get a couple of dresses made to this pattern in some other fabrics.

Then she tried on these cord trousers and shirt I had made for an old Kathe Kruse doll I owned and they again turned out to be a perfect fit. I also have the trousers in a deep green, so another pair she can use.

Finally a photo of her wearing a green cardigan with the last set which was made for Lillian Roche, so yet another item she can also use.

So since it’s almost winter she’s wearing the last set of clothes shown along with the cardie until I can get some things made. I am loving how childlike this doll is and just how almost everything suits her. Now she’s going to need her own trunk to keep her clothes in nice and tidy.
