She’s not yet Chomping her Chocolate!

But she’s starting to feel peckish!

and so she starts to Chomp !

Yum yum yum !

She’s loving the taste!

So these are the photos I took for the challenge for a Doll and Bear Alphabet Challenge on my friends flickr group.

Only a max of two photos are allowed each week , so I put a chomping and a non chomping one on.

VISITING

I went to visit a friend and took along Azalea. She loved looking around my friends garden.

She said hello to these lambs .

Then she found a slide! so she was so happy, she loves slides.

She was soon at the top and getting ready to slide down.

She called out to make sure I was watching!

Ready Steady Go !

Within seconds she was at the bottom, giggling.

I’m going again, she called , so I left her to enjoy herself and went in.

 

My friend collects mainly Kidz n Cats dolls and always has a display in her window. She also as a couple of Zwergnase dolls .

 

This lad in his cowboy hat was waiting for warmer weather , so he could go and ride the range 😉 bad refection but he was such a lovely doll I wanted to show him to you.

B IS FOR

BLYTHES WITH A BIG BOOK!

Cherry and Pinkney have decided to read a book. Pinkney is fed up reading Little women, they have already read it this month!

“No Cherry ” she says firmly ” I am not reading this again!”

“Oh but I love it! It’s so us!” Cherry answers.

Pinkney moves away and Cherry sets the book flat, how can I get her to agree.. she wonders

Meanwhile Pinkney’s thinking she does LOVE Little Women so to read again would not be so bad…

” I know ” says Cherry craftily ” If we read this book now we can read any that you want all next month!”

“Mmm ” says Pinkney ” ALL next month, what I want to read? ”

“Yes I promise, cross my heart and eat a pie”

“That’s cross my heart and hope to die!” corrects Pinkney

“Really! I always thought it was strange you had to eat a pie after crossing your heart!” giggles Cherry ” alright then , cross my heart and hope NOT to die!”

Pinkney giggles ” So let’s start reading then, I need to make a list ”

“What list !”

“The list of books we are reading next month”

“List! I don’t remember saying there’d be a need for a list !”

” Yes, list, there’s Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice , Anne of Green Gables ” she warms to her subject ” War and Peace …”

“WAR AND PEACE!”

ZWERGNASING!

Is that a word? well it is now!

Today I decided it was time for a photo shoot of my Zwergnase family.

So out into the garden we went.

Like little jewels of colour they stood about the rockery.

The rockery is a great place to take photos of the dolls even though the rocks are not level after a short fight I managed to get them all standing!

For the life of me I cannot remember the blondes name , so will call her Freya, well Freya’s looking a little wild haired in these photo’s ! in front on the left is Lenka and on the right is Katja and behind her is Azelea.

On the far left is Violet twin to Azelea.

Agnes is too far over on the right in these photos.

So she is encouraged to move to the front.

All but Violet are in their original outfits,so I must find or make them some new clothes.

We all move down into the formal garden onto the iron bench which we forgot to cover for the winter so is in need of some TLC.

Freya! What are you doing hiding behind that plant!

That’s better now we can see everyone. Lennert and Tammy have joined in.

Tammy in the front is the nemesis of all wolves in the surrounding area !

So that’s the Zwergnase family at present! will any more be arriving… we’ll just have to wait and see!

A IS FOR

APPLE

A friend is running a group on flickr with the theme of producing a photo each week with dolls, working our way through the alphabet.

These are some of the photos I took in order to submit one to the group.

Knowing I had these small wooden Apples, the letter A plus the large wooden Apple meant this was what immediately came to mind when I knew I was going to take part.

I decided that Constance O , my Jerry Berry girl would be perfect for this task.

So even thought it was trying to rain! I took everything out to the flower garden and set the scene.

Constance decide to sit on the table! and hold one of the red apples.

It was not long before she said that the apple was getting heavy and wearing her out!

Within minutes she was sliding down and resting against the big apple and sighing!

 

“Was that a snore? ” I ask in disbelief !

“Pardon? Do I have a blanket as it’s getting chilly? ” Realising that she’d be fast asleep within a minute, I decided to gather everything up and retire back inside, visions of her sitting with the apple on her head and walking about scattering from my mind!

Well at least she stayed awake long enough for the first couple !

ONE DRESS TWO DOLLS !

I fell in love with the fabric and style of the dress you are about to see , as soon as I saw it. It was made for the Sasha dolls by Petrana but I purchased it for another of my dolls who as been wearing the same outfit since last May!

I have plans to make her a dress or two but like most of my plans life gets in the way and it goes onto the back burner!

So while she waits Faith will wear this beautiful dress and maybe after that the Sasha’s can have a turn!.

 

Faith is holding onto her hair because there is a little breeze and I have yet to get her one of those caps that help her wig stay in place !

Poor Faith has been very neglected since she arrived and she’s one of my favourite dolls!

Faith is sitting on the dolls Picnic bench which is on the seat of the covered bench at present.

Unfortunately Faith does not have many pairs of shoes and these were the best fit from amongst her Sasha sisters many pairs but she did find this pink Radley handbag which matched the pink in her dress.

Then we tried the picnic bench on the grass but the wind was blowing Faiths hair in her eyes!

So she turned her face to the breeze.

she also tried sitting on the chimney pot for a couple of photos!

The breeze was picking up again, so Faith decided it was time to go back in!

But she very kindly changed and let Martha try on her new dress.

Martha was able to wear the perfect pink shoes to compliment the dress.

On the shady bench you can see the dresses true colours.

It’s lovely when a dress can fit to very different dolls and look perfect on both.
